An opportunity represents the possibility for sales of services or products.
  • Opportunity is created before you get into the sales cycle process of the sales.
  • An opportunity will make know the status of the sales and sales that are won and lost and the percentage of the sales transaction.
  • The are different sections in which the information is stored in the tabs where we find the complete details of the sales.

Each one of the section has its know set of details which are used for different purposes.
  • On potential tab you fill in the details of predicted closing date amount and profit etc.
  • On general tab you fill the basic details such as address and contact details.
  • On stages tab you track the sales opportunity through the stages, you move from one stage to another as the deal gets progressed.
  • On Competitors we specify who else is competing for this sales and the threat level of that competitor.
  • The summary and attachments are the basic sections which are used based on the requirement.

The Closing percentage is based on the stages that are represented in the sales.
  • The number of stages can be represented based on the requirement of the sales process.
  • Some sale cycles are long and some are short based on the stages of transaction.
  • The percentage for each stage can also defined by us in the stages setup which will be adjusted to all the sales automatically.

  • The status of the opportunity is changed either it is won or lost or open in accordance with the sales proces.
  • Once the status is updated and the dynamic opportunity analysis of the sale can be known by the analysis graph where we find the number of won and lost opportunity.
