Serif and Sans-Serif

Serif :

The oldest typefaces include serif fonts. It has little decorative strokes that comes out from letters.
  • The tail or stroke can be sharp, decorative or plain.
  • The strokes will appear on both letters and numerals.
  • They are easier to read on printed works like books, newspapers and magazines.

Sans-serif :

Sans-serif is more modern typefaces includes various width and shapes.
  • They doesn't have strokes at the end of the letters.
  • It has a direct and precise look.
  • They are better on the web designs and online works.
